We wanted to compliment your company and particular Alexis Stratfold. We have had the pleasure of purchasing a property in the Herault through Leggett. Alexis Stratfold was professional and helpful and acted as an honest broker throughout the process which was potentially daunting but she made it seem easy. She guided us through the whole purchase seamlessly whilst respecting our choices and we felt as if she acted fairly towards us as buyers but also towards the sellers. Barbara has been absolutely brilliant throughout our sale. She has worked very hard to keep the sale going (we had a boundary line problem), as our French isn’t conversational, she has been in contact with the Mayor, Geometre and Notaire throughout, trying to expedite matters. I am sure without Barbara’s help the sale would have fallen through. We can’t thank her enough for her help, patience and professionalism and just wanted to make sure that somebody was aware of this.

I would like to acknowledge the sterling job that Steve & Gill are doing. I sent them a number of viewing requests and asked for some dates at very short notice. Steve took the time to call me regarding these, so he initially showed the initiative to have a quick chat with me to get a better idea of our search criteria. Unlike some agents, he seemed to be able to embrace our somewhat ‘elastic’ wish-list. Both Steve and Gill were prompt in meeting us (selecting an easy-to-find venue); they were extremely well-informed regarding all the properties we viewed as well as the local and broader area. They conducted very thorough viewings giving a great deal of information, but also allowed us then to spend time on our own and discuss between ourselves.

Dawn was excellent from the start and extremely helpful tiding up the “loose ends” such as utilities, banking etc, she is a very professional agent and her style of selling is, as we operate in Spain. A strictly “no pressure” approach, which I know people appreciate. Not that much pressure needs to be exerted when faced with a portfolio of very affordable, attractive properties!
