Nevache is a traditional alpine village nestled just below the Col D'Echelles on the border with Italy.

The Area....

Nevache is a quiet alpine village located at 1600 m altitude, just 20 kms from Briancon and only a short drive over the Col D'Echelles to the Italian border. It is known for high altitude cross country skiing and ski touring, though there are a couple of small tow lifts near to the village.
It is a destination for a certain type of tourism, where nature and traditional alpine activities prioritise over commercial fuss.
The Claree Valley is one of the most liked valleys in the area, offering stunning walks and and beautiful river running it's full length.
